When to join the Chrome Alloys REACH Consortium

Membership of the Chromium Alloys Consortium remains open.  If you decide not to join the Chromium Alloys Consortium you can find information on purchasing access to FeCr/FeSiCr CSR here:

Cost of joining the Chrome Alloys REACH Consortium

The cost of joining is as follows:

  • €10,000 (fee for 2008/9, covering generic costs)
  • €10,000 (fee for 2009/2010 covering generic costs)
  • €8,500 (fee for compensation of historical data for non-ICDA Members

           A total of €28,500

If the Company is an Ordinary Member of ICDA, you will not be required to pay the compensation for historical costs and will only be required to pay 20.000€ for joining the Consortium.

Companies that do not join the Chromium Alloys Consortium and have a registration deadline of 30 November 2010 you will need to buy access to the CSR for FeCr and FeSiCr.

The cost includes a 30% sweat equity payment as follows:

  • €20,000 + € 6,000€ = € 26,000 (ICDA members) or
  • € 28,500 Eur + 8,550€ = € 37,050 Eur (non-ICDA members).

Non-Consortium members will not have the benefits outlined in the section Why join the Consortium and will also not receive reimbursements of any excess funds available when the SIEF ends in 1 June 2018.
